muscle pain lupus

Could this be a sign of lupus?

My wife had joint and muscle pain in hands and arms, also some numbness right everyday after she gave birth to our month and a half son .. she had blood a couple of times before pregnancy and was well but made again yesterday to see again .. they are afraid of their lupus .. friend has it and has the same symptoms .. What do you think?

Lupus is very difficult to diagnose. Joint pain alone is inconclusive, the more symptoms must be present for a diagnosis that this is difficult. The butterfly rash on the face, for example, would be more conclusive than joint pain. Learn all you can and keep abreast of the latest discoveries.
